Tom Morello is returning with his most explicitly political solo material yet. On July 28, 2026, Rolling Stone reported that the Rage Against the Machine guitarist will release his new solo album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, on September 25 via Mom + Pop Music. The announcement arrives alongside the new track “Date Night,” an anti-fascist song built around the true World War II story of three teenage Dutch girls who served as spies, saboteurs, and assassins against the Nazis.
“Date Night” is the second single from the album. Morello previously shared “Adjourn It,” which condemns rising racism and anti-immigrant bigotry and features System of a Down’s Serj Tankian alongside Morello’s teenage son Roman Morello. The new track also includes Roman Morello on guitar, and its lyrics recount the missions of sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen and their friend Hannie Schaft, who seduced Nazi officers and killed them in the woods.

The Album and Its Guests
Morello also announced the Power to the People Festival, scheduled for October 3 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The one-day event features Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Serj Tankian, and Jack Black, among others.
